Positions will be open for individuals with CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT-NET fellowships to conduct research in Mass Spectrometry based Proteomics and Computational Proteomics. Interested candidates may contact me directly.

Two joint projects approved from ICMR in 2015-2017:

  1. Received an ICMR sponsored joint project titled "Systematic discovery of biomarkers of asthma caused by common environmental allergens using plasma proteomics, cytokine profiling and network biology- a systems approach to drug discovery"as principal investigator for a period of 3 Years.
  2. Systematic identification of regulatory networks in pluripotent cells integrating coding and noncoding world.

Multi-institutinal project from DBT in 2015-2018:

  1. Received a DBT sponsored multi-institutional project with The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) entitled "Identifying Systems-level Cellular Networks Involved in Neurotropic Flavi Virus-Host Interaction" as principal investigator for a period of 3 Years.

One Project JRF postion is available:

  1. One Junior Research Fellow for a period of three years, @16,000/- per month + (30% HRA + Medical Benefits Rs 250) for first two years and @ 18,000/- per month for the third year. Essential Qualification: Masters Degree (M.Sc/M.Tech/MCA) in Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Applied Mathematics/ Electrical and communication Engineering/ Life Sciences. UGC/CSIR-NET or valid GATE is required.

    Experience: Knowledge of database management, biological or social networks, ordinary and partial differential equations (ODE/PDE).
